Privacy notice

Last updated 16 October 2026

This notice explains how Undeify handles personal data on this website, undeify.com. Each of our products has its own privacy notice, shown before that product collects anything.

Who we are

Undeify is a software company in Nigeria. We are completing our registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission, and our registered name and number will be added here when it is done. For anything about your data, write to hello@undeify.com.

What this website collects

Only what is listed here. This website has no forms, no accounts and no advertising. Our fonts and images are served from our own site.

Analytics cookies

On your first visit we ask whether we may use Google Analytics. Nothing from Google loads until you choose Accept, and if you decline, nothing from Google loads at all.

If you accept, Google Analytics sets two cookies, _ga and _ga_YMEL5ZY0SJ, which last up to 13 months. It records the pages you view, how you arrived at the site, your device and browser type, and your approximate location (country and city), which Google works out from your IP address. Google Analytics does not store your IP address. We have turned off Google signals and advertising features, so this data is not used to show you ads or linked to your Google account. Google processes this data for us, as our service provider.

You can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. If you decline after accepting, we stop Google Analytics and delete its cookies from your browser.

Why we may use it

We use Google Analytics only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. We rely on our legitimate interest in running a secure website for server logs and cookie-free visit counts, and on your request for emails you send us. We never sell personal data, and we do not use it for marketing unless you have asked us to.

How long we keep it

Google keeps detailed analytics data for 2 months; after that only totals remain, which do not identify anyone. Hosting logs and visit counts are kept by Vercel for the period its service provides, and the visit counts do not identify anyone. We keep emails for as long as the conversation is active and for up to two years afterwards, then delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.

Where it is processed

Google, Vercel and our email provider may process data outside Nigeria, including in the United States. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 allows for transfers abroad.

Your rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you can ask us to tell you what personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to stop or limit how we use it, and to give you a copy. Write to hello@undeify.com and we will answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

Changes

If we change this notice, we will update the date at the top of this page.
